Andbank works in solidarity with the World Breast Cancer Day campaign

Andbank joins the World Breast Cancer Day campaign, in collaboration with the Andorra-based jewellery brand Shiori. This bracelet is made from a cord of waxed cotton, anti-allergic steel and has a pink quartz, which symbolises peace and the energy of love.

The profits obtained from the sale of this bracelet will go entirely to the FERO Foundation, a private foundation that aims to contribute to the development of cancer research and with which Andbank has been actively collaborating for some years.

World Breast Cancer Day is held on Monday 19 October, reinforcing the commitment of the whole of society in the fight against this type of cancer. The aim is to raise awareness and educate everyone to carry out early detection and promote the fact that more and more women can access effective monitoring, diagnoses and treatments.

Starting Friday 16 October, the bracelet will be on sale at all Andbank branches, Shiori’s online store, and Dermandtek outlets. The price is €15.

With this action, the bank follows the line of its corporate social responsibility plan that focuses its efforts on helping research and promoting actions to fight cancer.

About the FERO Foundation

The FERO Foundation is a private, non-profit, charitable and scientific foundation dedicated to cancer research and treatment which, thanks to the funding of private donations, has set up numerous scientific research laboratories. The institution was founded by Dr Josep Baselga, Professor of Medicine at the Autonomous University and Chairman of the scientific committee of the VHIO Foundation (Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology). One of the major achievements of the Foundation has been the creation of the Breast Cancer Centre at Vall d’Hebron, unique in its speciality in Spain.
